YC Hertfordshire 'Supporting You' Emotional Wellbeing and Resilience Project at West Hyde Young People's Centre, Maple Cross

Entertain MeHealthLearning & CareersAdvice & Information

If you are aged 13-17 and would like some support with your emotional wellbeing or are struggling with stress, anxiety or low mood, the YC Hertfordshire 'Supporting You' Project at the West Hyde Young People's Centre could be for you.

The YC Hertfordshire 'Supporting You' programme consists of seven weekly sessions where you will learn strategies to support you to reduce stress, anxiety and/or low mood in a fun, workshop-type environment.

The strategies we will teach you are based on CBT. That stands for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. CBT looks at the links between the way we THINK, what we FEEL, and what we DO (thoughts, feelings and behaviours) and helps people reduce the thoughts that create stress, anxiety and low mood and instead feel better able to manage day to day life.
