If you're aged 14-17 and feel you'd like some support with your emotional wellbeing, confidence and self-esteem or are struggling with anxiety or low-mood then the YC Hertfordshire GROW project could be for you. Come along to the Bowes Lyon Young People’s Centre in Stevenage on Tuesday evenings from 6.15 to 8.15pm.
Want to feel happier and more confident in life? Come along to GROW. The YC Hertfordshire GROW Emotional Wellbeing Project runs during school term time. Each term we cover a variety of subjects and activities which will help you through any challenges and pressures you are facing in your life supporting your emotional and mental wellbeing.
You can get involved in a range of fun activities, including sports, cooking, arts & crafts and you'll also learn more about coping strategies and gain new life-skills. GROW offers a safe environment where you will get support to boost your emotional well-being, helping you to feel better about life.
The activities and topical discussions are run by supportive, qualified and experienced YC Hertfordshire youth workers. They are experienced in working with young people with a variety of needs. When you join the project there is a small assessment to see if you need help with anything specific.
GROW is open to everyone aged between 14 and 17 needing support with emotional well-being - just come along, no booking needed.
The Bowes Lyon Young People’s Centre is fully wheelchair accessible.
