The election process for the Stevenage Youth Mayor is run by members of the Stevenage Youth Council in April every year. The Stevenage Youth Mayor has a unique opportunity to represent the views and opinions of young people and influence decision makers. This is your chance to vote for the person to represent you! Take part in your local democracy!

There are five candidates in the 2018 Stevenage Youth Mayor elections. You can watch their election videos by clicking on their photos or names below.

When you have made your decision you can cast your vote by clicking the VOTE button below.

The VOTE button will take you to the voting site. You will need to give your age, postcode and the name of your school or college. You can only vote for one candidate and you can only vote once.

Voting is now live. It closes at 12pm on Sunday 29th April 2018.

Timing and Repeats:
Election of the Stevenage Youth Mayor happens once a year.

The new Stevenage Youth Mayor is elected just before their official inauguration at the end of May.
